Advocacy

The National Association for Gifted Children has some great information about advocacy at the local level. Check out their "Take Five! Advocating for Gifted Programs in Local Schools". Step one is evaluating the program that exists at your school with these standards (PDF document). We here at NJPING hope to help everyone with point number five!

Even the NJ Department of Education recognizes and encourages District Boards of Education to use the NAGC standards to establish their gifted programs.

Voice Your Opinion

Share your vision for what America can be and where President Obama should lead this country in relation to Gifted Education. Where should we start?
